Stone Pony was in the big smoke for one night of Dark Folk.

The city came alive in July with the Umbrella Winter City Sounds music festival where Stone Pony was thrilled to be presenting one of 12 curated shows in the festival program.

Dark Folk was set up in the unique retro lounge venue Vintage Vulture on Currie Street, Adelaide and showcased three singer-songwriters and poets who took folk to the darkest edges of storytelling!

Everyone was swept up in songs of cities & belonging, death & politics, wild weather and adventure with Daniel J Townsend (TAS), Jen Lush and Go Fish (Emma Luker and Dylan Woolcock) with poetry by Steve Brock, Thom Sullivan and Kathryn Hummel.
